Is there such thing as a meter for a deep cycle battery that would tell a percentage left of life?

ok.. i was hoping for something that could be mounted in a cabinet and always showing a reading.

If you google % of charge battery gauge you will get allot of options. I got mine from a minn kota dealer but it is not a minn kota mine looks like the one from big C but portable

I think best thing to do is get a voltmeter and hook it up with a push button switch in between it and battery that way it's just on when you want to test it I would think it be better so there is no draw that way

You can use the Vexilar Digital Battery Status Gauge. Just run longer leads off each terminal to where you want to mount the status gauge.
