Aqua Vu Micro

Recommended Posts

I bought an Aqua Vu Micro last year and really liked the portability of it. However, I'm wanting to upgrade this year and am going to list it in the local classifieds. Is it unreasonable to ask $225? I have the original box and all accessories.

Also, any guesstimates on what the DVR models will be going for in St. Paul this weekend? $499 is the list price everywhere I look.

Lastly, is it known if/how Aqua Vu addressed the diode problem they had with some of the cameras from last year?

MNCPRGUY,

Thanks for your interest in the Micro Plus units. I can't tell you what your micro would sell for. As far as price at the St. Paul show the units are $399 - Micro Plus and $499 - Micro Plus w/DVR but as you know the retailers do some serious discounting down there so expect a great chance at going under retail. As for the diode issue in last years micros, that was isolated to one shipment and was a factory error. Those units that did make it to retailers and sold to customers were quickly replaced by contacting our support.

Thanks

Chris Munchow

MNCPR I'm in the same boat. I have looked around and see that reeds has them on there site for 375.00 for the new mini without the DVR. So i would guess 350.00 would not to to far out in left field for an ice show price. Also is you buy one go onto the Aqua Vu facebook page and fill out a form and you get a free traveling case and a 12volt charger..

I go back and forth between the bigger stores there and see what there best price it. We also go with a group of 4-5 guys and like to bundle everything together. Seam to get a little better deal doing it this way.

GOOD LUCK!!

I would say around $200 would be a good price, if you have the travel case.

I have the same model as you & it works great. The problem is the kids like to use it to. I am thinking about upgrading to the Aqua Vu Micro Plus or maybe even the Micro plus with DVR for myself & letting the kids use the original micro. That camera does keep them interested in fishing so I stay out longer. I think it would be sweet to record some fish videos.

Guys,

Remember if you buy an Aqua-Vu unit that has a rebate on it at the shows, if the retailer doesn't have the rebate stuff bring your receipt to our booth and we will give it to you. Save you the trouble of sending the rebate form in.

CM

Nice.. I hope I can make it down to check them out.
