There are a some out there but choices are limited and when I do find something the sizes are to large Not looking to start a business just looking to save a buck so I can spend it on other toys. Thanks
Dylan8351
I make teardrops, rockers, and willows. I got my stuff through Jann's Netcraft but have never tried pouring. They have several options for that as well.
AaronM
For pouring lead?I do jigs for myself and do save quite a bit of money, but I cannot duplicate colors or variations as well as the big boys. I do, however, upgrade my hooks and gain an advantage there.Do-It makes good molds, but am not sure where to find appropriate ice molds. blackdog1101
I do, however, upgrade my hooks and gain an advantage there. That's smart. I really dislike a lot of the hooks that are used on most ice jigs, even many of the "big name" ice jig brands. There is no excuse for the soft wire hooks many of them use. When they're selling jigs for roughly $1.50 each you'd think that they could improve the hooks to even a regular grade Mustad hook. I just quickly browsed the big E auction site and found many unpainted ice fishing jigs with Mustad hooks in packs of 50 for about 13 cents each. No doubt the big ice fishing jig companies could buy them by the thousands for even less.
river rat316
Light wire hooks have there time and place, there are plenty of heavier wire options out there if you look for them. The lightwire aids in hook sets in deep water. It is important to match your eqiupment to the jig you are fishing also, if you are bending out hooks you are fishing to heavy of equipment most small panfish style jigs are meant for ultra lights and really light line. I know of what I speak. I've easily tied over 10,000 flies in my life. There are better options available at low cost than the low quality hooks used on most big name panfish jigs. To be clear I'm talking more about hook sharpness than bending. Water depth has nothing to do with hook quality. But we have strayed from the OP's topic, so if you want lets take this subject to it's own thread.

AaronM
You might also want to consider custom molds if you can't find exactly what you want. Do-It sells blank molds where you can have them machined to your specifications.
Bobberboy
I did find a site that will custom make molds. You send them the jig and they build it for you. They developed the business for just this purpose. They could not find anyone to make molds for them so they bought a CNC and moved forward. Will see how much cash is needed for a mold. Always the determining factor.
