where is a good place to get parts for wiring up the portable. I've got about 3 sets of lights,fans that I want to connect to my battery,would like to control them individually,plus be able to shut the battery off from the lite circuits

For something that simple i would think that a local hardware store would be best. As long as you can buy the wire in sections that you cut from their bulk instead of having to buy 100' of wire for a project that requires 10'. I would think they should have the fuses and quick disconnects that you'll need also. At least my local hardware store does.

I've found its easier to just buy the spool of wire and the big box of connectors right off the bat. that way you have them for whenever you need them. I cant count how many times I've needed a chunk of wire or a new end on a wire and was able to just grab off the spool hanging on the wall or out of the box in the drawer.
