How not to get a ticket for your sled

If your sled is registered out of state, you need to get a $12 MN sticker or permit from the same place you get your fishing license. Otherwise, a ticket you will get. It does not matter that you're totally registered in the other State. Unlike the boat, you'll need this special sticker for MN even if you are running for one day. I have NEVER seen a sign posted to this effect anywhere, but nevertheless....ignorance of the law is no excuse.

Ya need one for WI and MI, and they will cost ya more.

Not ND though, I guess they expect to make up the $ with the high non-res hunting licenses. LOL
