Labeling pictures

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to label a picture so that the label shows when you show them in a slide show on the computer? We have a ton of pictures from a recent trip and I would like to have the title or name show up when we look at them. Putting a name on the file doesn't do much when you're watching them.

Thanks for your time.

What software do you have available to use? I use Photoshop but almost any program will allow you to add text to a photo. The easiest is to use the software that you use to build the slideshow. I use ProShow Gold for photo slide shows. Allows you to add music, text and timing.

What are you using for the slideshow? Something stand alone you can send to others, like a Power Point presentation, or something you run on your computer and display on the TV or monitor?

If you upload them to Picasaweb you can caption them and the caption shows when you run the slideshow.
