sharpening chipper blade

Is it worth replacing or blade exchanging my chipper blade? It's a 10 inch off a SM mag 2000, if that matters.

I know shaver blades can have an angle and might require a bit more of an "art" to sharpen. It seems that chipper blade could be done in about 30 seconds with a bench grinder just like a lawnmower blade.

if strikemaster still does like they did before they partenered with Rapala , they offered blade exchange right at the factory by stopping in or mailing the old blades and money to them. since they no longer service augers at the new place I don't know if they will let you send the blades in for exchange. the best place to do the exchange is at a bait shop or sporting goods store that does exchanges. the last set I got was right from strikemaster when they were still in big lake. their tech told me the exchange blades are brand new blades that have never been used. they labeled them as exchange and charged a lower price for them because they were not put in the fancy retail plastic clam shells plus they would just take your old blades and sell them as scrap metal and used the money from scrap to off set the lower price they sold the exchanges for. they did not resharpen them. In my area I could get exchange blades at H&H in Maple Lake and up at the shell gas staion in Cold Springs on my way to the chain, that was last season hope it is the case this year.
