Avery Quick Set Blind

Recommended Posts

I am looking at getting an Avery Quick Set Blind and was wondering if anybody has one and how they like it? How is it traveling down the road at highway speeds? I currently have the Cabela's boat blind and the marsh grass comes off and tears while going down the road.

My bro has one and its ok. We covered it in fast grass and it works well. The poles like mentioned need improvement but not to the point where it will make your hunt suffer. A few mods at home will fix the problems. I however would agree and lean towards a well thought out custom.

Ive had one on my 16' alaskan now for the last 6 seasons and love it. I removed all the burlap material from it and installed Rafia grass. Works great. Ive hunted out of both the sky buster blinds and the beavertail blinds. I would prefer the avery. The skybuster was ok it hid very well, but was a pain to pick up dekes as the sides were very high. Beavertail blind has little slots to put natural vegitation in wich is nice so you can adapt to the surounding area. Folds down flat when not in use. Ive seen the newer quickset and they are not built like the older models in my opinion. Good luck on your purchase.
