First night after the snow storm cleared off, heated up some chicken fryer grease an poured over a buckket of beef scraps, trudge the half mile thru snow an beanfeild, not easy with a 50 lb bucket an a cross bow. The bait hadnt been hit with wasnt surprising, but had hopes hes was hungery. It didnt take long for the temps to drop qucik again. He didnt show. If he hasnt dened the midday temps are gona be far more appealing for him to get up an feed than the usual afternoon evening temps for sure.

It was an awsom night in stand tho, was a delicious doe feed in beans from my stand, an seen the biggest buck Ive seen from stand in many years, beautiful ten point an if I hadent don the "holy s---" move he woulda walked right donw my bait trail under my stand. but he jumped off the trail an angles slowly away from me, tried to get phone pics cause he was only 30 yards from me but they didnt trun out at all. wen I got down to leve i scared 5 nice dear away from trail head an there was many down the woodline an many in the feild by my car an many on the way home. Bow hunters shouda been out in my area cause they were moveing hard. Shoulda bought a tag. got the permit for it, but saving my tag for muzzy season. Still gona keep an eye on things so we'll see.
