gixxer01 Posted September 8, 2012 Share Posted September 8, 2012 Bought a new boat a few weeks ago outfitted with a Yamaha F150. Yamaha includes a "shock absorber" which slides over tilt/trim piston. Salesman claimed it to be a transom saver. I just don't see how this device alleviates any weight from the transom.
