Yeah, I've always ran into them while fishing from shore but obviously a boat lets you cover more ground. It's a total crapshoot though. Places that I've seen thousands of them one night I've never seen them at again. It seems you really have to be at the right place and the right time. That time has always been really late at night too.I'll PM you a couple already popular not-a-secret shore spots to try, but like I said, it's a crapshoot.
