power washer adjustment

Tom7227

Question

I managed to get the power washer running but a lot of water was coming out of the adjustment knob. Tool it apart and cleaned off all the corrosion. Now I can't compress the spring and the top enough to get it threaded back together. Any ideas on how to solve this one?

Thanks for your time.

Tom

Got it put back together but the relief valve wasn't working and the rig would shut off if I stopped spraying. Apparently I hadn't screwed it on far enough and all of a sudden it was gone. Have no clue where the parts ended up but at 2000 psi it could be anywhere. New part found on line and has been ordered.
