Steel ski quetion

I was wondering if there is anyway to minimize rusting with steel skis.

Hi Crappiehunter...

I have tried three times to do what you're asking. Repainted them myself twice, and had them professionally done the last time. Sandblasted, primed and painted. No joy.

I have concluded the only way to minimize rusting is to replace the steel skis with plastic aftermarket skis. Either that or it's paint time almost every season.

If somebody out there has found "the cure", PLEASE!!! pass it along.
