I am new to snowmobiling. I bought 2 1998 Yamaha Phasers this year and have really enjoyed them. My question is that since these machines are fan cooled, can I damage them by running them in this warm (35-40 degree) weather? Should I limit the rides to shorter distances? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have run fan cooled sleds into the mid-40's to 50 temps before and never had a problem. They get a little hot, so just don't overrun them in deeper snow and push the machine too hard. Regular packed trail riding you could safely ride to about 50 degrees. 35-40 degrees is ok, in any condition, in my opinion.
