Reminder to all turkey hunters in Minnesota -

Many turkey hunters are still confused. There is no lottery for Fall Turkey tags. Just go buy a license. The fall season will run from Saturday, Sept. 29, to Sunday, Oct. 28.

There will still be a lottery for SPRING TURKEY tags for the first four seasons! Only the last four seasons will be over the counter.

what I can't find is. During the season if someone buys a tag, is there a 24 hr wait? or longer? I'm assuming at least 24 hrs.

I think this only applies to deer hunting.

Yep, both sexes are open and its open until late Oct.
