Looking for an ATV disk to create food plots is the woods, this will not happen over nite so am looking for a disk that is durable enough to break down rotting branches and roots through out the years.

Thanks

Thats gonna be TOUGH... Your best bet is to go to a local coop and ask for a farmer to rototil the plot the first year... After the soil is initially broken the following years if you plan to disk all you will need to do is spray it first then disk and will have no problems

Check out the Groundhog Max disk. After much research my buddy settled on this disk and it is very tough and gets the job done.

Do not be turned away by its size. We have used this to work up a 1/8 acre virgin piece of ground in the middle of the woods as well as a two acre plot in a wide open fallow farm field.

Obviously it is slower then a large implement, but for DIY jobs and tight spaces, you can't beat it. Our spot in the woods, we cut down the trees, sprayed it and then disked it. We were able to work over and around roots and the stump tops and it either chops it up or rides over it. It works amazingly well.

Sodbuster by Antler King. I rented one for years and a few years ago purchased one. They are awesome. Heavy and built like a regular farm disk, very heavy duty. Serrated disks. Cuts through heavy sod. I love it and I would most definitely recommend. Look it up on the web.
