KrabbyPatties
I'd like to pickle a couple of jars of hot peppers from the garden for use on sandwiches. I'm fine with storing them in the fridge, so it seems like I should be able to pickle them without heat or a canner, but I can't find any recipes. Does anyone know how to do this? jentz
Just follow your favorite recpie, then instead of a canning boil just boil the vinagar with the spice/herb you wish.Pour it ovet the pepper rings let it cool to room temp,In the fridge it goes.Thats it. The vinagar boil is only to extract the spice/herb flavors. The vinagar is acidy and wont let the peppers spoil in refridgeration.

KrabbyPatties
Cool. I was hoping it would be that easy. Any thoughts on what spices/herbs would be good with peppers (serrano, hot banana)? I would imagine garlic and onion for sure.
