buckshot uses?

The nickel plated is still probably lead so it would be a no go for waterfowl. I have not seen any non-toxic buckshot on the market. I still have some old 4 buck leftover from the lead waterfowl days. It is not in my home defense kit.

i have fiocchi ammo thats nickle plated its 2-3/4" 10 shells 27 pellets and 1325 fps and its buckshot can i hunt waterfowl with these? or what is this kind of shell used for?

Fiocchi doesn't make a steel buckshot load that I've ever seen, so its safe to say that what you have is lead and not able to be used for waterfowl.

You can use buckshot on varmints/predators, bowling pins, pumpkins, etc.

I know of a couple of guys that used to use 4 buck for geese back in the day when lead was legal but today I wouldnt want that shot anywhere near my waterfowl hunting stuff or even in my truck during waterfowl season. looking for a ticket if you lead shot in your possesion during waterfowl season.

Only approved Non-toxic shot or steel shoot is legal for waterfowl and on WMAs
