Shack
Although not exactly LMITOUT's revolutionary Cloud based home monitoring puck, this thermostat sure looks to be a sleek deal. Even comes with a tiny green leaf display to make you feel good that you are being eco-efficient. Scott K
I do like the idea of changing the temp with my phone. Then I can totally shut the ac off when I am gone all week, then just turn it on a couple hours before I get home. Or turn it way down in the winter, when I am not home, then crank it up, right before I get home. Not sure I want it learning my behaviors thogh, because I am not even sure what I want, until it happens. LMITOUT
Are they cheap? Because every time I saw that freakin leaf I'd smash it into a billion pieces.
marine_man
I purchased (and installed myself) a Honeywell Redlink system in my home which allows me to monitor indoor and outdoor temperatures as well as turn the system on / off from any internet connection / smartphone.Filtrete makes something similar, but without the outdoor temperature, which might not be a big deal for those of you in non-rural settings.marine_man
Whoaru99
They're pretty neat. Don't have one but have played with a remote accessible thermostat.http://www.ecobee.com/solutions/home/smart/I have just a manually programmable thermostat. Generally have enough time before going and a pretty good idea of when I'm coming home to set it up before I head out.
