1997 Bonnie.....cabin filter???

Recommended Posts

My neighbor, the one yous guys helped me figure out the coolant leak thing, has a 97 bonnie, 3800 motor.

When he turns on the AC fan it just doesn't seem like much air is coming out. Is there a cabin filter in these things? If so, where does a guy find it?

The EVAP core is leaking and debris has built up on it over the years and is now limiting the air flow through it. If the blower motor is under the hood you have be able to remove it and see the EVAP core. If you can you should be able to clean it off enough to get some better air flow.

If not than you will need to pull the cover, wich I believe is still under the hood on this year. It's a big job. As long as your doing it you might as well replace the EVAP core.
