Does anyone know of good spot in these pools to stick some fish?

Find the back waters or the shallow mid river sand bars like 4 foot. The state Tournament is next Sat on that section of water,go and join in the fun

The north end of pepin is good thats where we shot for the border battle.

Thanks! I am looking at the south side of pepin just across from Wabasha. Seems to be some good back water. I will be fishing the state shoot ... doing a little research for my first turney! Will you be there?

Nope I will be in Algoma salmon fishing otherwise I would be. Most of the boats that come in with the heavy weights shoot alot of buffalo. If you cant find them in the shallow bays with a gps and chip look for the mid river sand bars that come up to around 4 feet.
