I was going to put this in the LOW thead but didnt want it to be overtaken by summer talk on there.

Who here is planning a trip to LOW. If so where do you plan on launching, when do you plan on going and what rig will you be using. Feel free to post your own rig you'll be taking. We got to past the time till ice somehow right?

Ill start.

Plan heading up on January 13 for 7 days. Plan on launching off Adrians. 2-3 guys will be going. We'll be taking my 2012 8x16 Mille Lacs.

Here's some pics of her....

Family Trip between Christmas and New Years with the wife and kids out on Adrians Road somewhere. May rent a house from Bayview. 6 - 8 guys in Feb out of Bayview, and maybe a March trip weather depending.

Christmas week Zipple Bay area. February trip to Bridges if doable otherwise Zipple again, late March - April, Muskeg and/or Buffalo Bay Pike. If the addictive cravings set in to bad there will be a few other LOW trips thrown in the mix.

We booked a day house trip with Bob's out of Warroad (three full days of fishing) during the second week of January. My two boys ages 9 and 11 can't wait to go back and with kids 10 and under fishing is free with Bob's; I've got two more seasons to take advantage of that policy. We were also able to book a sleeper house to use as a day house, which is really nice for the young one's who can't sit still and fish all day, the bunks give them a place to play without dropping things down the holes. Couple all of the above with the rental condo we got again in the marina where Bob picks us up each morning and drops us off each evening in his bomber and were a pretty spoiled group of ice fishermen all for less than 75.00 a day per person.
