One of those days!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever had one of those days when you were sure the world was out to get ya....????

Drove to Big DL this morning to try my luck for some muskies. Within the first hour I sent two lures a flying.......snapped the darn line off due to a rats nest. I lost my lucky "Manta" lure as it went about three miles before sinking. There goes 18.00 bucks plus a leader!

The second lure I lost about 20 casts later on a different set-up. There goes another 13.00 bucks plus the leader! I just took that lure out of the box this morning!!!!!!!

To top it off, I never saw any muskies...and I couldnt keep those little slim rockets (pike) off of my rod....must have caught 10 of them. Oh yeah...I got rained on as well.

To add insult to injury...I spilled hot coffee on my lap during the ride home! I should have just stayed in bed

I'm going to try to match that this evening when I go fishing on West Battle.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me this weekend. Except the added pain of seeing 3 muskies landed in other peoples boats without me getting even a follow.

P.S. Im glad at least someone was catching fish, just wish it was me.
