Any spoonpluggers out there Mille Lacs Experts?

Recommended Posts

Heading up tomorrow all day and will probably fish well after dark. Launching and fishing out of the north end, northwest end, specifically.

Any suggestions in general? Anyone fished up there today (Thursday)? Any paricular reefs/depths/techniques been affective?

I heard it was slower the early part of the week with the storms shaking up a but, but I am thinking it should be decent by tomorrow. I am fine with longer boat rides if neccessary and I have Lakemaster GPS.

Hula poppers with bottom walkers..... Just fish the mud 27-31 feet, less than .5 mph, long snell orange or chartreuse hook and a leech. If you want box fish, fish the gravel on the north end 14-18 feet.
