Lift Canopy Color

I need a new canopy for the pontoon lift, rather than buyying a new one for $900 I was going to get a used billboard sign for $60 and have it sewn.

The sign supplier only has black. I wanted white so it wouldn't get so hot.

Do you guys think it will make that much of a difference?

for 60 dollars VS 900, the only difference will be in your wallet . people have dark blue and green and many other dark colors on there lifts it should be fine. if its to hot raise the top to let more air under it.

I would be interested to know what the cost for sewing is, I like this idea.

It really doesn't get as hot as you think. We have a dark green one and it is still cooler under it than it is when you are on the dock. It still provides shade and we have never noticed it being any hotter than our grey cover.

Go with the color that will not show the dirt as much.

Do you get to pick what is on the billboard? If you work it right you may be able to get that company to pay you for the advertising. Lets see, what would you want? Some good looking babes? What beer? Anti-smoking ad? A casino?

Should be funded by Allstate. On the canopy it would just have the Allstate logo and.........."We've got ya covered"
