Lake Panorama?

Hello all,

Going to be visiting extended family who is renting a place on Lake Panorama at the end of June. Has anyone fished the main lake? Mainly like to target walleyes but will go after anything that will bite from panfish, to walleyes, to bass or whatever.

Just looking for any insight that anyone may have on this lake for the end of June prospects.

There are fish in there but 99% of the lake traffic will be pleasure boaters, it is a private lake so not many get a chance to fish it... I grew up 25 miles from there and never have fished it...

One of my best friends lives in Cedar Rapids, but he's originally from that area. He still gets back that way at least often enough to drop the boat in the water 20+ times a year, and they catch just about everything except catfish there. Walleyes, northerns, and bass are what he targets, but he said he gets some pretty big pannies while drifting lindy rigs around for the 'eyes.

I don't know the specifics of where he fishes or anything, but I just know that he only fishes that lake and their own farm pond. So....it must be pretty good. I'd just start with the deep weedline and see what you can find. Look for any inside turns, fish some of those more intersting-looking points if there's a good rocky bottom. Looks like a pretty fun lake to fish.
