Question

Im just full of questions this week. Here's the situation.I have a new 788 ci hd di unit and I have the head mounted back by the tiller. I would like to have a second mount for it at the bow. Is their a way to do this without having to purchase a second transducer? Is their a y cable system? Any help would be appreciated,I just cant afford a second unit for awhile otherwise I would buy a second unit and just link them.

Thanks

Yes, you can do that. I would ask perchjerker, or call Reeds

I'm in the same boat and planning on doing the same thing with my 798ci.

Yep, as stated above. Dave at Pro Fishing Supply will have the answer you need and the price you want. Give him a call at (612) 801-7967 or send an email to [email protected]. PFS is also a site sponsor and has the best prices on the net.

Installation was easy, but I think I may have a faulty us-3 switch. When I hook it up to the back mount switch number 2 it works fine. When I take the unit off and put it on the mount up front number 1 it tells me the transducer is not hooked up. Know matter what order I switch it on or power up it doesn't register the transducer. I've gone over every inch of the installation and everything is wired and connected properly, I just don't know.

Didn't have to call them. I just had to get out on the lake and experiment with it and it works great. I also put the front mount on a ram mount and it is very easy to see while fishing from the front. Glad I purchased the switch.

that is exactly what i do on my 16 ft boat, i mounted the bracket so when in screen is in center it faces left, that way i can rotate all the way right when driving boat or all the way left when sitting on bow trolling or playing.
