Bear success on small parcels?

Just received access to hunt a 80acre piece with a buddy of mine. I am wondering if this is too small of a piece of land to have two guys running baits and having success. What luck have some of you guys had?

I have 80 acres of river botttom that I run one site, any more than that an i be feeding the same bear at each site. It might be worth haveing a second site at the ready, my one site will usually get more than one bear but wen I take one usually with a gun of some sorts, All the comotion of shooting, an retreving the bear shuts down the site for a long time, an having a site on the other side of the property might be worht it in the sence that it hasent been affected by all the comtion of hunting an could produce a second bear, im in no qouta an have yet to take two bear but am gonna try this this year, since all it would take is a scent bag to start it up cause bear are already in the area.

I had similiar situation on 70 acres and I was getting different bear hitting the sites at same time of of day , I would do that for sure take one from each spot if enough bear to hit them.

Go for it! I can count on one hand the number of bear taken in the last five years from my hunters that DID NOT live/bed nightly within earshot of the bait. It does not take alot of land to hold them once they show up.

Sounds good. Now I will just have to wait in see if I can get drawn in one of the drawings.

Are you asking if it's wise to run two baits sites one 80 acre parcell? I'd say no. It's the same thing as running one bait site. Although you don't need alot of land for a bait, I'd put the second one in another location to increase you're odds off success.
