Youth safety harness?

Anyone know of a youth safety harness for a 35lb child? My son is five and enjoys going with hunting. Problem is I can't find any rated for children that small. Ground blinds work, but would like to get into a stand. I'm doubtful they make them that small, just hoping. Definitely would get the H.S.S life line also. Any info is appreciated.

I looked hard last fall for my son. he was six and about 45 lbs. Could not find any that small. We had to stay on the ground as well. Good luck in your search.

Think I'll check rock climbing harnesses.

Paceman, I'm looking into the trango junior harness. It adjusts from 25-80lb kids. Lots of good reviews. It is for rock climbing so I think it's as safe as any hunting harness. I'll probably buy it and test it out.

Let us know Surewood, my boy is coming of age and I am thinking about hauling him up in a stand this fall. We did the ground blind thing last year.

Will do. Looks like with the life line and the harness I'll have to get a carabiner or two maybe a little extra rope and he should be safe going up and down, and sitting.
