Need opinion on boat styles

Looking for my first boat beside my Jon boat for duck hunting. Anywho, I really like the style of bass boat and like to have capacity about 3-4 people if possible. My range is around $3-$5k. Ideally I don't want to finance and just cash it out. Any inputs is really appreciated. Best trolling on C L like crazy!

Find a used alumacraft phantom or something similar.

Good luck finding a bass boat that fishes more than 2 comfortably there designed for 2 anglers. Yes there long but still designed for 2 your better off looking for a 16' tiller if you want room for 3-4 anglers

if its for family maybe a fish 7 ski

if its for the guys a tracker, crestliner, lund etc

consider storage options, electronics, fiberglass vs aluminum, etc.

I would check out war eagle boats. Any drab painted jon boat (like the alumacraft 1648) will do fine and you should be able to stay under your budget.

i would agree with the alumacraft phantom. i had one for several years, and could comfortably fish musky with 3 anglers. mine was a 92 if i remember right, and sold it five years ago for 6500. that was in as close to mint condition as one could be. had a merc. 135.

Check out the auction site and c list and this site too. A good used semi v aluminum 16 footer would be in that range. Bass boats are expensive and not as versital IMO.
