Over-the-counter question?

So I finally decided to buy my over the counter license on tuesday. All that was asked was which season I was buying for. After thinking about it today, I looked at the license, and nowhere does it indicate what area I am hunting nor was I asked.

Am I right thinking that I can hunt in any area I please?

This would be nice as I live in 507 and 508 is just minutes down the road. Anyone know for sure? Otherwise I'll stick to 507.

I looked, but coudn't find anything concrete about this in the rules/regs.

I got a over the counter surplus for season E and area 508.The second part of your license-not the tag. It says on the right side in bold type: ST 12-508E.

Yours should say the same for whatever season and area.

I have no idea how I missed that, after looking at it several times!! .

I am glad the bait shop knows where I hunt, as they put in 507 correctly!
