Dead out there today, only managed a few dinks and a 19" smallmouth. Got off the water before it gets too hot.

This time of year I would be trolling the basin with leadcore and #5 raps or similar...They can switch from livebait to cranks in a heartbeat...

Thanks for the tip! I thought about that today thinking it might get a bigger fish or too, but I forgot to bring my leadcore.
