So, it sounds like the newer copilots on the Terrova's are in the top part of the "head" assembly? On my old autopilot 55 Minnkota from many years ago, the copilot was added as a side replacement piece. Do I have that right? If so, it should be a pretty easy install. Thanks.

The i-Pilot is a very easy plug-and-play install on a Terrova. For PowerDrive motors it is a little more work but still not difficult.

(CoPilot and i-Pilot are different animals. CoPilot came out first and basically just allows for cordless remote control. i-Pilot is more recent. It allows for cordless remote control and has additional GPS related functions. i-Pilot only works on Terrova and Riptide ST and also on PowerDrive V2 and Riptide SP models. It will not work on pre-2007 PowerDrive models.)
