Still a good bite going on all around. Was out again yesterday; plenty of walleye and a few northerns to boot. Sometimes you have to work a bit to get on the fish, but once you find them and find what they want, you can have a good day fishing.

Not in my area Jarrod... In the shallow lakes i fish around here the water temp is 89 deg and the fish are lucky to just lay there and keep breathing, much less attempt to eat anything. Dead northerns and a few eyes' too... not good.

Oh and did i mention its supposed to be 100 again tommorow? Gross.

Hopefully the catfish are bitin' on the river next weekend!

Yeah...we fished a shallower lake yesterday, and the surface temp was about 80 degrees. Still had active fish, though. The deeper lakes in the northeast corner of the state should be all right...but as always, you have to go deeper at this time of year.

I imagine you could get into the catfish if you get in the right spot...
