I'm looking for a good charter on Lake Michigan near Milwaukee in July. Any recomendations? Thanks

So none of you saddlesores have salmon fished Lake Michigan?

I have gone through Dumper Dan's out of Sheboygan several times and recommend them highly. They are a bit north of Milwaukee though. Good luck!

id second going with dumper dan,i have been out with him 3 times now and also highly recomend him, but like j-man said its about 60 miles from milwaukee,

Here is one closer to Milwaukee. Out of Port Washington. Nikki Boy Charters- I have been there the last two years in June. Had Cris as the Captain and did very - very good.

We fished two days each year (six hrs ea, day) and have had great fishing for both Kings and Coho. You are allowed a limit for one day and also a possession limit = to the limnit.

Had never gone before and now it is a yearly trip. (There are 4 of us.)

Also know a great place localy for getting some salmon smoked!

Port Washington, is just north of Milwaukee and is a approx. 6 to 6.5 hrs from the cities.

I would highly recommed Dumper Dans out of Sheboygan. He runs 4 boats and is always on fish in my experience (fishing the area for 10 years). Haven't fished with them for a few years since my inlaws bought a boat, but still run into them steady out there...they do good. It is about an hour from Milwaukee, but worth the drive IMO.

Caught the fish in my avatar from Lake Michigan. I fished with Kinn's Sport Fishing out of Algoma. Was a great time.

Might suggest hitting the Minneapolis sports show- Last year there were several booths for Salmon Fishing- on Lake Mich. Shop compare and deal! It can be fun.

I know there will be rep's from several reputable places to go to, including the one I had mentioned earlier.
