I thought about turning on my sprinklers today. I didn't, but just because the air gets down to 20's doesn't mean the ground will freeze. Any outside spigots and water should be more than safe in the southern half of the state.

We've been turning systems on for the past two weeks. Cover up the backflow with old blankets or drain them if the temps make it that low. My concerns are with the slippery sidewalks!
