Minnesota DNR Clarification on Alabama Rigs

it's the fair ease of catching multiple fish that bothers me about that contraption. I just have to wonder about the point. Even tournament fishing, come on... One fish at a time.

Bass aren't that tough to catch, stick with one of the billion other lures out that work on single fish.

I dont think you should exactly say catching two fish at once is that easy. Its still hard to catch two on the a-rig. and the whole point of tournaments are to win so why would you not fish the a-rig when it gives you the best chance to win.

i think its more about technique and knowing where the fish are or at least to find fish. as some of you may have seen, the alabama rig hasnt done soo well where numbers counts in major league fishing

by best chance to win you are talking about catching multiple fish at a time right???

I'm vehemently opposed to swinging 5 bats in MLB too.

but what if on border waters 3 out of the 5 bats had holes through them?

and on inland mn waters 4/5 had holes... would that make a difference on how you feel about the lure?

how do you feel about a spinner bait?

there are single blades and multiple blade lures that could mimic schooling bait?
