I purchased a VP-1 Pro on 02-13-12 and on the second trip out it slide forward towards the hole and broke the transducer arm. I don't expect marcum to buy me a new one as it really wasn't there fault, but it has been an issue before with other people. I have registered my unit on line and tried to contact them two times through there web site and no one has ever emailed me back. I have heard many GREAT things about there customer service and this was a big factor in my purchasing a marcum unit. I just want to know where I can purchase a replacement arm. Any one have any ideas?? Thanks for your help!

I have had one customer service experience with Marcum and because of it I will never buy another brand of ice fishing electronics. Awesome is an understatement. As noted above, it started with a phone call. Always try phone contact first.
