Musky Buck
The guides and clients give these fish quite the education, think not just guides but how many million casts land in these few waters each year, wow eh ? I would buy local also, these traveling folk nothing against em but if or when our fishery goes south the traveling guides will to, they're not hangin around for the demise, they aren't taking the bull by the horns for our fisheries, they aren't standing up to the Kirk Schnitker types or fighting the spearing season on Cass, or are they ? urban cowboy
I just want the best guide money can buy. Local or traveling, it a business and some businesses are better than others. Personally IMO, and not every guide, I think that some local guides can sometimes be too emotionally attached to their water which lends itself to holding back curtain info and lake details. Thats based on my experience. I have fished with both. Your opinion might be different.
Musky Buck
Thanks Urban yeah, I never thought it through with that angle, very true. No doubt it's all about who you think you'd enjoy the time on the water with because in the end that should be the goal. No you are not likely to slaughtert them so to speak so if it's a tough day on the water fish wise, did or can you enjoy fishing with 1 of the best ? Go with your gut and first impression of the guide and you'll have a lot of fun.
