Fixed or mechanicles for cross bow?

Getting my crossbow this weekend, an was wondering what kinda surgical steele to put on the end, I hunt bear an can figure that out but are there heads just for crossbows or will traditional vertical bow heads work?

Probably any head on the market will work, but xbows are made for mechanicals IMO. Mechanicals work best with heavy, fast arrows and that's exactly what you have. I would look for a relatively heavy, two or three blade head that looks like it's solidly built and you'll probably have a winner.

I use the Rage crossbow broadheads on my Strykezone 380 crossbow and they are awesome.

WE use Rage 2 blade almost exclusively for the handi capped hunt I guide for. They have always served our archers very well. This is for whitetail deer.

Crossbows actually make the expandable work better with those heavy fast arrows. A few that we have used are the Rage,NAP spitfire and the Wasp jackhammer.
