good turkey price

cubs have honeysuckle turkeys for their radio ad for 88 cents per pound. it's usualy a three day add. still have a couple from the thanksgiving ad but this is not a bad price. good luck

That's a pretty good deal. There MIGHT be room for a turkey in the freezer.

What I've done is smoke the whole turkey, rest it and carve it up and package it into two breast and a dark meat package then freeze it. It's nice to have on hand plus it takes very little room in the freezer that way.

Thanks RH. Love when I see good deals on meat. No room in my freezer, but like the idea of buying, smoking and then freezing. I could get that in the freezer and have a nice weekend project to boot.

Got one yesterday, a 15 pounder for $13. Sweet! Most of the ones they had left at Maplewood were MUCH bigger.
