Bionic Buckail Spinnerbait

Anyone else have success with one of these? A buddy and I were about to call it quits when I threw it on and tried a couple of casts out to deeper water. Fished Tonka this morning and caught 4 northerns in 20 minutes and had about a 15-20lb muskie follow it right to the boat. Was too excited and muffed the figure eight. We had been targeting the outside weededge to no avail all morning. Was using white.

Yes! Bought one last weekend and caught one on Saturday within the first 30 casts. Bionic bucktail has caught 100% of my muskies this year. I am going to get a couple more. From my years of experience bass, northerns, muskies love the spinner bait. I don't know what it is about them but they catch a good 75% of my fish. The spinner bait is an excellent weedless bait that is easy to control depth with.

I have had great success with Bionics catching several Muskies in the 40 plus inch range, some big pike, and the biggest Walleyes I have taken have also come on Bionics. I caught a 33" and a 30" walleye last year casting deep weedlines for Muskies. I have also caught a number of smallies in the 20" proximity with them. Those lures are pure gold for fishing weedlines

Regardless of the fact that i grew up with the nephews of the owner of Northland tackle(john peterson) , i can tell you that those are dynamite lures at any time of the year without any bias! The white has been great for me and caught my biggest northern (41 and a half) and has accounted for a 49 and a half musky and oodles of northerns over 10 pounds out of leech lake alone. I am a true believer in this lure and have several in my box at all times. The new inline spinner is great too although i don't have much water time with that one yet.It may sound like a huge sales pitch but tie one on , you won't be dissapointed!

I have been fishing the BB for the past 5+ years! These lures are the best. Like others have posted -- They catch all species and do it well. Not sure what the others are missing, but I go to the BB over all the others. The single hooks are nice for weedless fishing and easy releases!

Pick up a few, they are the best!
