yesterday we got unto the best multi-species day of ice fishing i've ever had. we were after crappies & gills, which we got plenty of, but we also got a nice eater eye, 3 nice bass, 2 northerns, a mess of nice perch, & a sucker. all were caught on the same area. there's a long shallow weed flat to 10', then a steep break to 15', then another big sand/mud flat that slowly tapers to 30'. fish were caught from 15-18'. whats your best multi-species day & what kinda structure were you on?

I've had some pretty crazy multi-species days on the Mississippi. I think 11 is my record

smallies, lmb, drum, rock bass, bluegill, sunfish, white sucker, redhorse, quillback, crappie, walleye. Could have been a couple more rough fish mixed in there, or white/black crappies if you wanted to get technical

out on the St Croix the other day, I only caught about 8 fish, most were different species. I caught white bass, a mudpuppie, a sturgeon, a mooneye and a few crappies. I had to use google to figure out what the mooneye and mudpuppy were
