Lake Winnipeg Chip for Garmin?

We are thinking of making a trip to lake Winnepeg in March. Lakemaster doesnt make Canadian chips, looks like the Canadian Navionics chip doesnt cover Manitoba. Does anybody know where a guy can get a chip for lake Winnipeg for a Garmin gps?

Our party has looked and we are pretty sure they dont make one. A chartplotter was the only thing we could find.

Navionics does make a chip for Winnipeg and the Red. It covers a bunch of other water too. It is pricy tho. I think its around $250.

I stand corrected. It's new this year and is called the Navionics Gold 2XG. I wonder if they mapped the lake themselves or overlayed off the canadian hydro maps?

If anyone knows of a chip that has Cedar Lake, Manitoba, let me know. Cedar lake is just west of the northern stretch of Lake Winnipeg. I can't even find a printed lake map. You'd think some Canadian's have gotten the drift Americans like to go up there to fish, and since were "lazy" Americans we like our GPS. Perhaps a business idea? I call dibs.
