Dave Posted April 24, 2012 Share Posted April 24, 2012 You will also need a tube cutter to cut the pex.What I found to work well is using a standard copper tubing cutter, to make a nicely cut "groove", and then I completed the cut with a hacksaw.I suppose I'll have to drop the $80 for that crimper as well and be done with it.When they plumbed my well, I watched the guy cut a clamp off with just a hacksaw.
