Clam summit pop up.

Took out a clam summit pop up out for the first time today. Space was nice setup wasn't bad. Does anyone know if clam had/has issues with the stiching on these? one of the inside anchor staps had the threads break and the strap came off the hut. Then we also had one of the poles in the bottom corner poke threw the nylon seat that it sets in. I'm sure clam will take care of the problem and I've always had great customer service from them. Just kind of wondering if these are common problems that a person would see reocurring since it's the first time we've ever used a pop up, or if it was just a fluke deal.

On another note, I think it will be a great shack for Spear fishing.

Have they stood behind the product and fixed issues to your knowledge.

I don't know. I have never owned a Clam. I'm sure someone will have an answer.

Try using the search box on the left hand side of the page. There have been some threads about issues with Clams.

I have a summit and love it. Never had any problems except for the bag. Sent them an email and a picture of it and a couple of weeks later they sent me a new one. I think a big problem that people are having with the hub style houses are that they aren't careful when they are taking them down. I have noticed if you don't try to hurry when taking it down, you will have no problems.
