GoPro + Flasher

Can you get a GoPro to show what a flasher is actually reading? I took a video and it just showed random blurps of the flasher rather than what it was actually reading. It was on the r4 setting. It's not a big deal but i just really wanted to see the flasher because i was in 16 fow with sunfish suspened from 7-13 and rushing up to hit my jig just 3' under the ice... woulda been some pretty sweet footage!

I'm gonna say no.

The reason you see the blurps on a recording is because all camcorders basically take really fast pictures (say 20-60 frames a second?)

Your flasher looks like a constant circle of colors to the human eye, but a camera picks up the blank screen you can't see as your flasher is working.

It depends on the frame rate of the camera and the frame rate that the video is rendered. I could not capture the display on my Ice 55 very well at all with a Flip camera, but with the Canon Point and Shoot I've been using lately it works fine.

It varies from camera to camera and flasher to flasher.
