Any Yetti Wheelhouse Owners

walleye-

Question

I have a 8x16 yetti and have only pulled it about 400 miles so far and the driver side tire is wearing bad on the outer edge. Wondering if anyone else is having any issues with this. I can't afford a new tire every couple months.. Also it doesn't look like the axle is bent or anything the house is new.

Something must be out of whack. Bent spindle or leaf spring or the arm that the wheel is attached to? Take some measurments on the good side and see if you match the other. Lift the house and spin the wheel. See if there is an issue there. Look for anything. Didnt jackknife it and bend the hitch did you? Just trying to give you ideas on what to look for. Hope this helps.

Walleye, Have you checked the air pressure in you tires lately? Not just that they look ok but what the fine print on the side actually says? I found out the hard way that mine were almost 20lbs low from what they should be, with extreme load. Doesn't take too many miles to wear the edge. [i had to put a dang magnifying glass up to the specs to read the fine print!] I thought 32lbs would be fine,WRONG! Also You can crank it up and put a straight piece of angle iron or pipe along each wheel, [extending to the front] and have a friend hold the tape on his side take your measurments, then extend it to the back and check your measurments noting tow in or tow out. At least it will give you some definite facts to hit them with. Good luck and hope stub axels not welded crooked!

Just got done fishing with a friend of mine. He stated the same problem with his tires after driving his yetti three hours to red lake. He brought it in to a yetti dealer and they had reajust the axle. Really wore down his tires quick
