randall spear?

hi i got a randall spear 7 tine. it has a rope in the end of it it is broke off how do i get the rope inside. the handle looks like it comes off on the head of the tines. does it twist off not sure any help would be great.

HI I have a randall spear also but mine just has a hole drilled across thru the end of handle are you sure it is a randall could you post a pic fish4u

I'm guess that the end of it unscrews out and the rope has a knot on the end of it.

Thats how most of the spears I have seen like what you mentioned are.

hi yes its a randalls it says on the spear. i will try to get a pic up. i did figure it out. i just unscrewed the handle pushed a coat hanger down the top and the rope came out. thanks for the help.
