Is there a good book or video that one can read or watch that explains these wraps very well?

+1 on Billy Vivona's book. It took me a little while to wrap my mind around it. Now I use it all the time when I do complicated wraps.

I have the Dale Clemens book, can't remember the title off hand, but I got a lot out of it.

A while back I did a few step by step, almost wrap by wrap how to threads on 2 different dec wraps. Take a look and see how they develop. If you do check them out and can't quite understand what I am trying say(sometimes my first stab at explaining things is not always on target), ask me I will try a different approach to explaining it.

I have the billy book too. Join the rod builders guild, there's tons of info and more help there too. Local and national group. Step by step wraps too. The only problem with the books, no matter who's, is its a different language you have to learn. The guild has a regional meeting at the St croix plant in wisc in the fall. Good help there and its cool to see how the rods and blanks are made.
